Publisher : Global Vision Publishing House
About the Book
Performance has been one of the most important and widely used dependent variables in research and practice in work and organisational psychology. Whatever efforts have been made to improve human factors in industry, are not sufficient. Much attention is still required in this area. The present book highlights the significance of human aspects in productive efficiency in organisations.
The first two chapters of the book deals with conceptual framework and literature review which includes the definitions, framework and previous studies and findings for understanding ego-strength, job anxiety, participation and its relationship with performance. In the next three chapters presentation of field data and its interpretation is discussed. Authors affirm that productivity is influenced not only by physical aspects but attitudinal variables are equally important for the productive efficiency of employees. Authors conclude by suggesting future areas of research and implications of the present study.
