About the Book
Business Psychology, comparatively a new title, is embodiment of the concepts and issues relating to individual, team work and leadership; interpersonal relations structure and functions of small or large national or multinational companies /organisations and integration of all these with the objective to create opportunities beyond boundaries.
Present book consists of 21 chapters classified over three parts namely (i) Business Psychology: Emerging Issues; (ii) Business Psychology: Empirical Stakes; and (iii) Business Psychology: Enhancement and Promotion. Each part has many valuable chapters. First part includes inputs ranging from psychological exploration of intricacies, subtleties, teamwork, hardiness, emotional intelligence and person perception as current issues in business. The interface between business and psychology is also a significant contribution in this part to broaden the horizons of psychology. Second part examines the role of different factors like professional’s obsolescence, affect and emotion regulation, burnout, well-being, HRD climate etc. in various working groups of society and organisations. The last part is equipped with suggestions/techniques applicable to almost all types of companies or organizations to develop promote and enhance their overall growth including human resources. Editors are hopeful that book will achieve its objective and establish a light post to illuminate some shaded areas of psychology.

About the Editors
Nov Rattan Sharma is working as Professor of Psychology at M.D. University, Rohtak. He is a committed teacher and versatile researcher with an experience of more than 26 years. Professor Sharma has contributed around 70 research articles to various journals and Books. He has also supervised a large number of M.Phil and Doctoral Dissertations in addition to the extensive community level programmes on applications of Psychology to varied works settings. His areas of research are Health and Behaviour. He has edited seven books on different titles of psychology. He is also an editor of Journal of Indian Health Psychology.
Amrita Yadava is presently as Professor of Psychology at M.D. University, Rohtak. She is actively involved in teaching, research and extension work since more than 30 years. More than 60 research articles have been published by her in reputed Journals and Books. She has also edited six books on different applied areas of Psychology. Her research work dominantly relates applications of Psychology to many areas such as Guidance, Counselling, Health and other working sectors. Recently she has been facilitated by Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar for her outstanding and exemplary contributions in the field of Psychology.
